The Slingshot Key is a hybrid Delta kite from Slingshot that is very easy to fly and safe. The kite has been designed for the free ride/surf market and is aimed at beginners through to intermediate riders. Slingshot are very aware of the state of the global economy and with this kite have produced it as cost effective as possible making it one of the cheapest kites on the market.
The Delta shaped canopy flies really well, re launches like a dream and has almost 100% depower. Being a Delta it has lots of low end grunt and is very controllable with pivotal turning. Add the standard Slingshot build quality and you have a strong, safe, well made but cheap kite…Perfect!
We have found several cheap kites available for sale in the UK and on most have been disappointed when we got to test them. They all work but have that element missing. Whether it be a useless bar and line set, over flying from the kite, bad gust flying ability or really bad build quality.
