Due to the volume of kites we receive and the fact some of them are received with no contact details, it could be very easy for us to loose your kite (It has not happened yet!). To stop all chance of this happening please fill out the form below and submit it BEFORE sending your kite to us. This will give us a record of every kite in our workshops and everyone due in. This allows us to schedule the work making our whole business run smoother and allows us to offer more accurate waiting times.
Thank you in advance for helping us to be as efficient as possible.
We use the below box for general comments relating to kite repairs including current lead times, general delays and expected work load.
This is just another way of keeping you informed.
This is the daddy! So you know what state your kite is in and again to keep efficiency up we have added a forum below...No, not to allow kiters with no wind the chance to winge and take on the world (Yes, I hate forums!!) but gives me the chance to update the status of your kite so you know what state it's at. If you want to ask any questions throughout your kites stay with us please feel free to use the forum below or call the shop. We usually work down the kites in order so you know when yours is next!

REPAIR COMMENTS AND CURRENT LEAD TIME
We are working hard in the quieter times to make sure we are more efficient in the summer. We are getting more and more shops/manufacturers and need to keep lead times down. We have set up another repair station in the shop and Danny is in training..Rest assured we are all about quality...Before Danny is let loose on any live kites he has plenty of old ones to repair until his standards reach what you expect from Kitemare Company. Two repairers=Twice the output without rushing and lowering our standards. I can see my water time reducing as the season moves on :o(
You are kite repair wizards.... many thanks, you will be recommended to the "pushkiting" boys and girls frinton, essex.
The kites are still coming in but I can keep on top now easily. Lead times 2-4 days until further notice. I am aiming for 1-2 days then allowing for postge back. Thanks for all of your support.
NO MORE KITES TO DO! First time in 11 months...One more came in today just as I finished but it does mean the lead times are down to 1-2 days only. We want to keep to this fast lead time and if it does change I will let you all know. So, at present get your kite fixed and returned by the weekend!
New machine working like a dream. We are working through our back log as machine was down for two weeks. Should only add 1 week to lead times as we are working to get through them.
Oh yes...We are back. Not only have we got the new Singer 457 ZZ but also a new controllable speed motor for the Benina Industrial machine too. Goes so slow Danny has started to sew now. Give us a couple of months to get him practised and two of us will be sewing. Expansion is good for the lead times, 1/2 the time...Bring it on! Two industrial machines and two semi for back up...Never again will we have the same problems we had last week...4 machines to choose from in two repair centres (one up and one in the shop)..Yipieeeee!
After two weeks of machine issues with two out of three playing up and going to the repairers twice, we have bit the bullet. Just under £1000 invested, but, ohhh what a beautie our new Singer 457 zz machine is. The stitch is much better and will sew a lot thicker material...Long and the short of it we have struggeled like ell the last two weeks to put kites through, last night alone I finished two so WERE BACK!
We are out of action until Thursday! I have worn one machine away, the motor needs replacing on the second so I only have 1 left Ahhhh! Both are at the repairers and will be back Thursday morning ready to go again.
This will give me time to update the site and prepare any kites that come in.
Sorry for the delay...
I am away as from Tuesday untill the following week competing in the BKSA event in Blackpool. We are right on top with only 1-2 kites to do and these will be through Monday. Any kites not already in will go through when I get back. See you in Blackpool...
Still on top. Lost 2 days last week on the BKSA flags, time consuming little monkeys they were! All done now so back to kites again (much better!).
Got my kite back after being repaired and boy was I IMPRESSED. I honestly could not tell where the tear (to the leading edge) was! A huge thanks and a strong reccomendation to anyone in need of a kite repair :)
Only two kites in as of today. Lead times down below 1 week. Very fast turn around again.
Caught up totally...Whopieeeee!
Brilliant :) Thanks very muchly Peter!
Hi Nic, It is just about through, there is two of us on the case at the moment to get everything cleared by the weekend! We have never had a day without a kite to repair and we want to see what this would be like! We will ring you today for payment and get it to you by the weekend. Cheers...
Hi Peter, any news on the white wainman 9m I sent through last week - I'm keen to get that crazy horse back on the water :)
One week waiting time as from today. Only 8 kites in and two of them are easy (compared to the rest!). Looks like we are really catching up Yipieeee....
Nick they are on the forum (were page 2) and should be through today. The Best split is almost complete and Ion due today.
Gary...You are just one cheeky git and I knew I should have sewn pink rip stop into your kite!
Have not seen any mention of my 9.5 best or 12.5 ion. any chance of a rough eta?
Thanks
Pete - It must be Danny, colour matching, stitching, turnaround. My 10m was a mess, what a pleasure to see it back in one piece and looking no diffrent to the day i got it out of the bag. Good work Danny ;-) and Pete. PS You were so quick i didnt even miss a session.
With a week of solid repairing just completed we are back to 5-7 day turnaround. With no sign of good wind to destroy any more kites I should totally catch up! The forum below is fully updated to kites in and booked so I will try to keep it that way.
Times coming down after silly problem period! Had three kites with silly bladder issues that have had bladder in, out, in, out all they needed was to shake it all about and we would have had the okey, kokey! Those kites have now left in A1 condition so I will update the forum below and work through the 6-7 kites I have left in here. I expect all to be cleared by the weekend ready for the next onslaught as good wind forecast this weekend!
Almost on top! Need to update forum on Monday as lots of kites turned up together. Should still only be a week or just over. Happy flying...
Been away to Hunstanton for the BKSA event. Back now and also doubled our repair staff! Danny now also repairing (basic taping only!) so repair times will remain 1 week at present even with the latest influx of repairs.
Waiting times for kite repairs are still 3-4 days at present. Managing to keep up easily.....Until the next severe storm!
Richard Rawlingson and Alan Jones going through today then leaving only a few left to do...Lead times back to normal of under a week...Yipieee!
Kitesurf warehouse holding pressure like a good un...another one out the door! Greg on the bench now and should get BBR done today too.
As of today only 5 kites to repair so I should whip through these!! Kitesurf warehouse on the bench now and I will work down the list.
Lead times are back to a week after the recent onslaught of 22 kites delivered to us in 2 days! Took a while to get through them and lead times did reach 2.5 weeks but we are back to normal now....Thanks for your patience.
